Concept in development

Four worlds. One floor that answers every step.

The plan for each Storylit Studio: themed story sets, actors who play the people of each world, and a projected floor that reacts to every footstep. Pick a world, then move or tap on the set.

Enchanted ForestGlowing footprints and sparkles follow every step.
The story

Lumi's storybook needs you

Long ago, someone painted a storybook so bright its pages glowed. Left on a high shelf, the paint went quiet, until only one spark was still awake: Lumi. She knows a storybook stays lit as long as children keep stepping in, so she flew out to find them.

Each Storylit world is one chapter of the book. Every child who visits paints, plays and writes a new page, and the chapter glows a little brighter. Painting is how a page gets written: the sets are painted by hand by artists, and the Creative Corner is Lumi's paint table.

A concept in development: the story, worlds and quests are planned.

The characters

Meet the cast

Each world has a companion who lives in the projections, the props and the app. In the plan, professional actors play the people of each world alongside them.

MossThe fox ranger of the Enchanted Forest. On set with a forest ranger.

“Shh. Listen. The forest is saying hello.”

The quest: Listen Light the path Give back a color
PipThe snowy owl who runs the Winter Wonderland post office. On set with the snow post office clerk.

“A letter, just for you. Sealed with a spark!”

The quest: Sort the snow mail Sign it with a spark Deliver it in the snow
Captain ShellyThe sea turtle who captains the Under the Sea world. On set with a ship's first mate.

“Deep breath in, like the tide. Now, let's dive!”

The quest: Breathe like the tide Paint the coral Swim with the shy fish
BoltThe robot co-pilot of the Starship. On set with the starship captain.

“Countdown! Five, four... wait, what comes after four?”

The quest: The countdown Draw a constellation Land by starlight
And Lumi, the spark, who guides every story in the app and speaks every scan-me message. The actors, as planned: professionals, background-checked and trained in child safety, who never take a child anywhere a parent can't see.
The Creative Corner

Make a prop for the shoot

In the plan, every visit starts at a craft table: families make a crown, a wand or a cape, then wear it on set. Try it here.

Demo: nothing is saved. In the studio, the real thing is made by hand.

The floor

Every step leaves a little light

The planned floor projects each world from above and senses movement from the ceiling, so a footstep leaves a glowing print in the forest, a puff of snow in winter, bubbles under the sea and stardust on the starship.

  • It reads movement only: no cameras on the floor, no faces, nothing recorded.
  • Gentle light and slow effects, with calmer settings for sensory-friendly hours (planned).
  • It works for the smallest steps, a wheelchair or a dance.

“Shh. Listen. The forest is saying hello.”

Questions

The Studio, answered

What are the four Storylit worlds?

The Enchanted Forest with Moss the fox ranger, Winter Wonderland with Pip the snowy owl, Under the Sea with Captain Shelly the sea turtle, and the Starship with Bolt the robot. Members get extra seasonal worlds through the year.

How does the interactive floor work?

Projectors and motion sensors above the set draw on the floor and follow every step: glowing footprints in the forest, snow in winter, bubbles and fish under the sea, stardust on the starship.

Who are the characters?

Professional actors play the human roles in each world, alongside the animated companions kids meet in the app. In the plan, every actor is background-checked and trained to work with young children.

What is the Creative Corner?

A craft table where families make a prop before their shoot, such as a crown, a wand or a cape, using templates and stickers from that world, so every photo has something the child made.
